SINUS Messtechnik Made in Germnay

Overview

Application

In addition to sound and vibration analysis, our SAMURAI ™ software is suitable for a wide range of other applications, such as measuring dynamic forces for monitoring production processes or measuring dynamic pressures in hydraulic and pneumatic systems such as compressors, pumps or pipelines. The SAMURAI ™ option RMS meter provides RMS and peak measured values for this purpose.

Or you can use the RMS meter to calculate the LZpeak in the frequency range of 20 Hz - 40 kHz for assessing ultrasound in the workplace.

Description

The SAMURAI ™ option RMS Meter calculates RMS and peak values of any measured variable in physical units or decibels. Before this, the time signal is filtered through a user-defined high and low pass.

Figure 1:
Numerical display of the RMS and peak measured values with level and threshold values. In addition, the level over time of three RMS measured accelerometers is shown.

Figure 2:
Numerical display of the RMS and peak measured values as well as the history graph of the RMS measured values of a measurement for stress analysis evaluating dynamic forces with piezoelectric sensors.

Figure 3:
The graph at the bottom left shows the history graph of the (20 Hz - 20 kHz) as well as the RMS meter values (20 Hz – 40 kHz, ultrasonic range) of a test measurement.

The user can define custom settings for a high and low pass filter, averaging mode, and storage interval.
