Overview

Applications

The SAMURAI option Sound Level Meter is designed to measure and display various sound level values for measurements of workplace conditions, environmental noise, machine noise, building acoustics, room acoustics and sound power measurements. The values are compliant to important international standards and regulations.

Through this SAMURAI option, our measurements devices can be used as standard-compliant sound level meters according to IEC60651 / IEC 60804 / IEC 61672-1, IEC 651 and IEC 804 with 2, 4, 8 ... 96 measuring channels. When used with the SINUS Soundbook, the system is type approved according to IEC 61672-1 and IEC 61260 by the PTB (German metrology authority) and can thus be calibration to highest standards and legal requirements. In addition, a type approval was also granted in Austria, Switzerland and Hungary. We are the only manufacturer who offers PC-based multichannel sound level measurement systems that are type approved.

Description

This SAMURAI option enables the simultaneous measurement and display of 62 sound level values as rms, maximum and peak values with different frequency and time weightings. When used with a history graph, any configuration of sound level values and markers can be displayed.
